I got this Marlin back in April 2023. I finally decided to refinish it and add some upgrades. I still have the stock and foregrip. I plan to refinish them at some point.

I swore I'd never do this to a lever-action rifle but the folks at the lever-action subreddit won me over.

Love me some traditional lever guns, but I'm not a total fudd on them. You can have just as much fun with these, if not more, and no stress over getting a ding or two on them.
 
I got a JM stamp Marlin 336 earlier this year and had intentions of doing this to it but I can’t bring myself to not have that wood on a lever gun. Just seems wrong to have synthetic on it.
