Wife and I are coffee lovers but we're not the sophisticated types. We've been using a Keurig for several years for everyday, run-of-the-mill coffee and it suits us fine. I have a French press and outdoor percolators and drip coffee makers, too, but rarely use them.
I also bought a Nespresso Vertuo machine several years ago and then realized how expensive the pods are...so we haven't used it for some time. But, it makes decent espresso for our needs. We recently bought some more pods and got hooked on it again. So since we like the espresso drinks so much we decided to bite the bullet and buy a decent machine.
It's got a pretty steep learning curve but I guess that's part of the fun. It mostly guides you thru everything as long as you can press buttons on the screen. Third cappuccino was pretty decent so maybe I'll get it dialed in sooner rather than later.
