Inches and Mrad relationship

Most targets come in 1" grid markings. My scopes are Mrad. I'm looking for an app to put on my phone to do the conversions. As an example, if I am shooting 10 inches high at 500 yds, I need to be able to convert that to x number of mils to make my scope adjustment. Right now I am using ChatGP and asking it for the solution, which works quite well, but is obviously not a reliable solution in all situations. I am sure there is a formula to do this conversion that wouldn't require any electronic device. I imagine there may well be a chart of some sort out there that would show these corrections. If you have one please share it or a link to it.

It’s all based on 10.
1/10mil @ 100 = 0.36”
1 mil @ 100 = 3.6”
1/10 mil @ 1000 = 3.6”
1 mil @ 1000 = 36”

So 1/10 mil @ 500 is one half of 3.6” or 1.8”.
1/2 mil or 5/10 mil @ 500 will be 9”. Dial 1/2 mil or 6/10 mil and you should be good.
