Injection molded…metal?

Something tells me Roly-poly knife guy would fuck himself up in the woods and doesn't really do hard use.

As far as a MIM knife, it probably works but we'll see. I don't see it holding up like pudge seems to think it will. It's a flipper anyway so it's a piece of junk to me, I have no use for flipper knives. If they come up with a thumb stud then I might take a look.

MIM is the pot metal crap Remington started using in their shotguns. It fails perfectly
If CATRA is saying that it’s testing like S35VN, I don’t think it’s fair to compare it to pot metal.

I dunno how it’ll do over the long term, but if it really does hold up like S35VN, it has a lot of potential. There’s very little, if any, machining to do, so adding features to the blade adds basically no cost—want thumb studs? No problem. Want more belly to the blade? Easy peasy. Want it to have multiple grinds? They got you.

Personally, I’m not hot on this particular style. It’s kinda meh, but I’m thinking about picking one up just as a curiosity.

I’m just not sure if it’s two Benjamin’s worth of curious…

Remington thought it strong enough to use for extractors. They've been mostly wrong
