The big difference is they have an aluminum chassis so you can interchange various grips on it. It doesn't appear to be anything new. The slide is basically a Glock 19 slide.
From what I saw they’re exactly that, with the serialized fire control unit of the Sigs. So you can have a tray of parts and lowers and configure what you want to carry. They’re fine examples of Scots thrift to boot!
"seems like it should be the next Seecamp"
That thing is GIGANTIC compared to a Seecamp! That like saying a Zeppelin is the same size as kids balsa wood glider. I can see the add now "Introducing the New Ruger RMX Hindenburg"

What I meant when I said that, if you remember back in the day you had to wait in line around the block to get a glimpse of one. If you took more than 15 seconds to look at it the next guy would snap it up. The only deals on one was simply getting hold of it. It was right about the time CCW became a thing. Before that there wasn’t really a market for more than J frames and Jennings in pocket artillery. The potential desirability of it is where the comparison ends. The RMX is just a 19 with the modularity of a box of LEGOs. If the concept proves then everyone and their brother will run with it.
