I'm not the world's biggest Taurus fan but I sure like their TX22. In my opinion it's one of the best .22 semi-auto handguns out there. The first one I bought was one of the 1st generation, full-size guns. When the Gen 2 came out, I picked up another full-size version and sold the original. Even better than the first. It comes optic and suppressor ready. Taurus also has 22-round mags for them.
Kentucky Gun Co had the compact version on sale recently for just over $200, plus a rebate for 3 additional magazines. I figured if one was good, two was better. I got it and it's every bit as good as the full-size with the same set of features. The 3 mags have already been shipped and should be here in a few days.
