Okay that's pretty much what I had seen, was just hoping there was one that was prefab and maybe made of metal? I don't know if that stupid to want a metal one or not.

I will be honest, I did not know that was a thing but looking at design it makes sense that it does and would.

I assume a design like the Rare Breed does not?

The TX22 FRTs are quite a bit thicker than they probably should be, but it's nothing I can't thin down. I haven't messed with any of the 1022 versions to see what works best.

Ive heard the metal ss for the tx22 can tear up the slide over time.

Hey Bobby, the problem I'm running into on my 10-22 is that the lower lobe on the hammer won't allow the trigger to be forced forward again until it reaches full cock thus binding the reset lever and bolt. If you clearance the lever not to bind it will start following and not release when full in battery but about an 1/8" from battery causing no ignition. I found a used hammer on eBay for 10 bucks and I'm going to reduce the lobe below the sear cut to allow the trigger to be forced forward as soon as the bolt starts back. If it works I'll let ya know here I should have it by Friday. Good luck!

So my first test with the printed TX22 FRT was a complete failure. The sucker broke after 2 shots. I didn't have the steel one with me, so I didn't get it installed until a couple of days ago.

Got a 10-22 to rattle off 5 in a row, that's all I had in the mag. I am going to do more testing, but so far promising.
