Knowing this community, if they booted him for stealing $50k worth of shit, he probably stole $75k and they could only find proof of $50k. Dudes steal everying if it’s not bolted down, and even then they’ll come back with bolt cutters or a torch. The issue is who they choose to steal from. He’s probably a good dude and since you met him, you liked him, and by the same token, if you met the rest, you’d probably like them too.

By your standard, if you knew 1/4 of the shit these companies do, you would never use their shit. You’d be LARPing with a stick and WW2 surplus. I work in this space. A lot of these companies large and small are dirty bastards and a lot are great, but they all make good shit that people want or need, so being picky because of fake internet morals is kinda hokey.
BTW, ADM sucks. We pulled their mounts off a program because they couldn’t hold zero and failed under qual because of their springs and lock mechanism. They might be better now but the taint is there. I wouldn’t take one if it was given to me.
