I don’t know why they don’t have it set up so a Kestrel could Bluetooth connect to feed the chronograph atmospheric conditions so it could populate the phone app with those conditions for that day’s shooting session or have the Kestrel populate the app.

Who knows, maybe Applied Ballistics will make a chronograph one of these days that will do it all.

Anyway, glad to see the price coming down but I don’t see Garmin lowering theirs anytime soon

The Garmins are $470 something on Expert Voice . . . it'll be interesting to see how the Athlon clones do.

I’ve only ordered two things from Expert Voice (Eotech and Bushnell scope). Most of the times they are out of what I’m looking for. Maybe Eurooptics will carry them and the price will be between $300-350. Or you’ll be able to purchase directly from Athlon through Expert Voice like you can Eotech and others at a reduced price.

Don’t forget that it cost about $20, maybe $30 to make. They’d make money even with a 70% mil discount because the mil discounts are far and few between compared to the non discount purchases. They don’t have the overhead that non Chicom companies have, especially US and euro trash. 90% of Chicom companies will take a hit on profit to push out non Chicom competitors…they can do it because they are state subsidized.
