Good looking out. Cousin and I have been shopping for an auto loader for his son. 1st shotgun and he needs a shorty. Saved him 500-700 bucks! Just ordered one
I read some of the reviews. They're used. I don't know how used, and it appears you might have to buy him some choke tubes, but it's probably ideal for a first shotgun.

He probably doesn't need more than an IC for hunting regular stuff and a turkey or full for turkey.
I didn’t see that originally. It wasn’t very conspicuous. Still pretty cheap though.
If I’m not mistaken the a300s take mobil chokes, and the a400s and 1301s take optima high performance chokes.
And, how did it all shake out?
We kept getting shipment delays from Midway and I finally pulled the plug and backed out. A few sorta negative reviews popped up after we bought it with shit missing and markings on the serial number. My weirdshitometer pegged out and we bailed.

He's told his had he wants an SBE3 in wood. He's been umpiring rec baseball all summer (was) and saving his money from that. Also been helping dad set forms on the job site. Cousin has a 2 in synthetic that his son doesn't like. I'm going down around the 5th to chase a couple Doe's and will bring my 3 in wood incase we have some time to bird hunt.. I have a feeling I won't be returning home with it lol
