Best Non-Stick Cookware Ever

I know all about cast iron and how it's the original non-stick cookware. But sometimes you need something besides a skillet or griddle. So this isn't about cast iron.

Our old non-stick stuff was cheap and crappy so I went on a search for something better that would last longer than a few years.

I settled on a set of Circulon cookware in their Scratch Defense A1 line. This stuff is amazing, is far less expensive (even though it's not cheap) than the other big brands like Made In and Hex Clad and is supposed to be, hands down, the most durable. I've had it for a couple of months now and it definitely is the best cookware I've ever used. My only complaint is it's very hard to find a smaller saucepan in this series. NOTHING sticks to this stuff and cleanup is as simple as a rinse under hot water.

Gonna give this a look.

I buy and dump my nonstick. Probably could have bought 2-3 nice sets by now with what I've spent on throwaways. I'm a moron.

We have some All-clad nonstick that’s pretty good. The surface doesn’t get all tore up but we make sure to only use wood or silicone utensils

My wife and I have been married a little over 3 years. You'd think she was digging for gold the way she uses metal spoons on cookware. It's been an uphill battle getting her to use wooden or silicone utensils. I finally bought a nice silicone set and gave most of our metal shit to Goodwill. I told her I was gonna put my backhoe to use if I caught her using metal on this new cookware. Even though it's supposed to stand up to it...I don't wanna test that claim.

Did your wife hijack your account? Why the fuck are we talking about pots and pans???

How long have yall had this stuff? I tried one of those blue diamond ones, admittedly it's not primo, but it was slick as owl shit at first. Now it's horrible. That's about 2 years of use, mostly scrambling eggs over medium/medium-high heat. Always hand washed, no metal utensils, nevet got super hot on high heat, nothing like that.

We've only had the Circulon for a couple of months. We use a few of the pieces at least once daily, usually more than once. So not a long time. I don't care what you cook, it rinses right out. Obviously, oils and such don't rinse completely off...but anything else does. The coating doesn't have whatever the bad shit is in some nonstick coatings...PT** something or other. Of course, everything wears out eventually. We'll see how long it lasts. Right now, it's far and away the best I've ever seen.

About 2 years is all I can get outa one. I don't know for what reason but I use to keep them after I quit using them until I couldn't get anymore in that cabinet. Took 6-8 to the trash all at the same time. Now when I bring a new one home the old one goes in the trash.

Mine don't get scratched up real bad, but they get where I can't get them clean and then they aren't non-stick. I don't know what is in olive oil, onions and jalapeños but something about that combo leaves a black stain/film that is hard as hell to get off.

Guess I never realized they had such a short lifespan with light/careful use, but I guess so. I really only use mine to cook breakfast and I do that in batches so it gets used two or three times a week maybe, and virtually everything else is done on the grill. Guess it's time for another one.

I know what you're talking about. Get some of this. It's like a miracle cleaner and doesn't harm non-stick coatings.

I'm still old school cast iron skillets, griddles, pots, dutch ovens & a big wok.

Do have a couple of big mirro & nuwave forged pots & pans for boiling & soup/stews, and several steel cake pans and glassware oven "pans" iirc pyrex, but may be some other brand.

My woman bought several enamal coated cast iron skillets, tfal titanium & blue ceramic non-stick, bout only food I seen her cook in them was eggs, pan cakes, grilled ham & cheese and carmal sugary dessert topping for ice cream, cakes etc.

She hardly uses them now since I bought the stove/oven several years back that has a griddle inbetween the 4 burners, all other cooking she uses my old pots/pans, cast iron or pressure cookers.
