It’s not that it’s antlerless that will spazz them out, it the fact that so many they didn’t intend to be thinned will be antlerless. He hasn't shed a side. He's just all screwed up on one side. Maybe he'll have a full typical set next year. These are yard deer, so unless he gets run over or poached I should get a look at him again.
I had at least 9 different deer in the yard last night, and maybe more. 6 bucks on camera at the same time and the 3 girls that pretty much live here. Had some other singles & doubles that might have been some of the same deer I saw later, but I had at least 9.
I've lived here 32 years, and I never knew that was going on outside my bedroom window. Oh, I'd see a few tracks from time to time, but nothing like this.
