Cleaning your Rifle again

I figured I'd post this here in the training subforum because this is probably where this needs to be vs the Plinkng subforum. Why you ask? You'll see once you read this link. This is 100% the result of lack of training/knowledge that could have easily been remediated by reading the operator's manual or watching a you tube video or just generally being educated on guns, namely "maintenance".

Hello glocktalk, I have a 20" AR with maybe 2-3000ish rounds through it giving me issues and I would like other opinions. After maybe 3000ish rounds I started having trouble extracting live cartridges from the chamber, sometimes having to mortar them out. I replaced the extractor and ejector...

Holmes didn't need to clean his rifle after every mag but FFS, oil the MF once in awhile. WTF? He's got rust on his shit and carbon crusting like ceramics.

Part of cleaning your shit is looking for broken shit or parts that have worn.

My old 3 gun ar15 was a workhorse, built out of the cheapest parts I could find. It was my 1 exception to clean after shoot strategy. Went a month or so usually between cleaning and it got pretty dirty and beat up.
