I got this in an industry email today. I just went to Glock's website and all pistol models seem to be there so I'm not sure what they are talking about. I can certainly understand why Glock would want to only sell unmodifiable pistols in the future. Maybe the newsletter refers to a catalog that only dealers see when ordering inventory.

if you want an original model buy it now before the "new" v model are all you can buy "new".

Glock actually announced this back in April but it was pretty low key. It just recently went 'viral' so to speak.

With all the cottage industries that sprang up around the Gen 3s and now the RMX and others, does this really matter other than Glock jumping the shark?
