Going to test out RCBS's warranty again

It's a bad ass trimmer, I've sized/trimmed approx 100k 223 & 308 brass in 20 years or so of owning it.

Had an 06' die too, sized/trimmed 5k brass I'd picked up, bought & traded for, but like a dumbfuck I traded 4k & the die for powder, lead bullets & cash. I had it mounted on my 550 cause 06' too long won't fit in my pro1k set up.

Downside is the sizer/trim dies are like $75 each now, iirc they were $45 or $50 each when I bought it, and you got to lube cases, but thats any size die & use a universal de-capper to punch out primers.

Like I said above or some thread, I mounted the size/trim dies in an old lee pro 1k press, so I got a progressive sizer/trimmer for my 223 & 308 brass, I use a 9mil & 45acp base turret cause 223 & 308 cases fit & work in them.

They are awesome. It would go great on my 650xl however I need a stand alone so I can do all other cartridges and I can’t or do not use the Dillon for. For my 223 and 308 I may get it?

Once you set up the motor to caliber size/trim die and case oal, it's consistent,

you remove trimmer and/or die or change to another caliber die etc you got to set it back up to oal etc.

Idk bout how others set theirs, but I use my dial mic when I set mine up, and I usually do minimum 1k case size/trim at a time, most time wait & do several k,

To chamfer inside case mouths I use a lee I mounted to a dowel rod I chuck into low rpm drill that I do while listen radio or watch tv.

Don't bother with chamfer outside case mouth since I crimp bullet for my semis.

For my established hunting/target loads I do chamfer outside case mouths, but thats only few hundred rounds of prep & loading at a time.

After size/trim & chamfer I throw them into tumbler to clean off the lube & brass bits.

All my other rifle calibers for new components test or hunting/target loads I use my little homemade motor & lee oal studs/cutter on, that can be little as 20 to several hundred cases at a time.

I don't trim cases every loading, really depends on caliber, which rifle I shoot & if it's a medium or max load, trim is usual every third loading,

On my magnums or max load it's usually every loading or every 2nd loading depending on brass stretch.

Haven't been loading since mid 80s and not figured out how to prep/load quick, easy & cheap a lil bit.

On good days when I've smoked enough cigarettes & drank enough coffee I shoot very very well,

But Prices on cigs & coffee are way up and thats cut heavily into my daily consumption, so now I actually have to try real hard to hit where I aim, so I carry lots of extra ammo incase I don't feel like trying hard enough.

Suppose to drink coffee aim with a cig hamging out ur mouth and you’ll hit every time!

Pretty much the way I shoot, hunt & fish
