Any of you gentlemen do workouts with kettlebells? I haven’t been to a gym since 2015 and it’s time I start doing some exercising now that I’ve lost weight. My old gym is no longer In business and going to one isn’t appealing now at my age and busy life so I figured kettlebells are the ticket. Any of yall use them? Any workout recommendations?

Something you might look at is these adjustable dumbbells. They have a kettlebell handle you can attach. We have a previous version of the dumbbells and my son has used them to pretty great effect over the last 18-24 months. He's a testament to what you can accomplish with very little equipment.

The dumbbells can feel a little awkward sometimes, especially if you have them expanded to 70+ pounds. And there are a few things that don't work great - like anything using two hands on one dumbbell. They take a little getting used to, but offer a lot of possibilities for the space and money. Might be worth a look.

Kettlebells are the bomb. I have several that I use and you can wear yourself out.
I don't like the adjustable dumbbells, they invariably break. I have a set of Rogue 15 dumbbell bars that are Olympic size that I can put on or take off whatever weight I need. It's takes longer but they'll never break

I just googled "Kettelbell WOD"

I’m gonna get some. Luckily my job is physical but I’d like to have a decent workout before bed.

Eating right has made me lose a lot of weight but I need a tad more physical activity to get to that goal weight.

I think the dumbbells like we have would have to be abused to break. You definitely wouldn't want to drop them or treat them like cast weights. I can see some of the dial types being a little delicate, but ours are still fine after a couple years of pretty consistent use.

But, given the room and budget a set of kettle bells and dumbbells would be great too.
