Mounting these to inside of safe?

Picked up two of these on the idea of using them to hold empty Glock mags in my safe. How would ya’ll recommend mounting them? Can I screw into the “fireproofing” of the safe?

I wouldn’t penetrate the “fireproofing”. It will only decrease the amount of protection. You might try using some type of construction adhesive or possibly contact cement.

I might look to glue or velcro it if its just holding empty mags.

I’ve had good luck with 3M automotive double-stick tape for things like this, just make sure you clean the surfaces good and give it a decent amount of cure time. I used the thin plastic tape, not the thick foam tape.

Liquid Nails or Through the Roof clear roofing sealant.

It would be sticking to the carpet or whatever so I assume liquid nails would be ok

If its going on carpet can you put a tiny slit above and below the mag holder and fish a zip tie around it?

If it’s the kind of carpet that’s been used in most of the safes I’ve seen, you might be able to use the hook side of some heavy duty Velcro to stick the bar to the carpet. It has the advantage that it won’t make a mess and can be moved later.

Save yourself some money and just liquid nail directly to the mag and then put the mags on the wall of the safe. No extra magnetic hardware needed.
