Some of you may not be familiar with these yet. I think they've only been out for a few months. It's basically a semi auto version of the Mossberg Shockwave. I've only shot it a few times so far just to determine how controllable it is. I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it shot. I don't think I would ever need to shoot 3" rounds through it, but wouldn't be afraid to. I really like the little thing. It's very handy to grab when I go out for a rideabout in my UTV. With a single point sling, it's quite easy to have it at your side when out walking through the woods. It will take some practice to get good hand eye coordination to be accurate with it since raising it up to eye level could result in an ouchy if you forget to extend it out far enough. Should make a good home defense piece if needed although it wouldn't be my first choice. I'm looking forward to putting some more rounds through it.

Picked up a new 990 Aftershock

I've had one for a few months now. It's a powerhouse and it's compact. Seems to function very well. I haven't had any issues. And I was also surprised at how (relatively speaking) easy it is to shoot. I think it's a lot more comfortable to shoot than one of the 12ga Shockwave guns. Kicking around turning mine into a SBS once the tax goes away in Jan.
