I need some input for a program. For those of you who shoot Reflex sights regularly, in competition, or have used them in GWOT, please post what you'd like to see as a reticle. Picture/drawing would be great. Trying to get an idea of what people would like besides a dot or a circle dot.
Thanks

Sorta simular to one of the reticles on the walmart special atn ultra reflex I got mounted on my hipoint truck/atv/tractor "carbine".

It's not a great reflex sight, but it's always held zero after getting bounced around.

I liked the eotech reticule on my SAW, and found it to be pretty flexible. The superior option to this (in my opinion) is the Vortex UH1’s reticule.

It’s the best of all worlds in my opinion. The 1 moa dot gives you a little precision. The large 65MOA circle helps with acquisition, and also is useful with shotguns with judging spread within predetermined distances and machine guns to where you’re shooting more for “fuck that guy within that area”. The little triangle at the bottom is useful for closeup, or more accurately, you’re too dumb or poor to just blow the house up and wanna go play John wick kinda dumb shit.

I can't really copy this because vtx will sue. They sue everything, like it's a hobby for them. But thanks for the thoughtful input

What if the triangle was gimbled electronically so that it would provide a quick and dirty level indicator? If the intersecting hashes were to point inward it would replicate the effect of some of the old European dangerous game optics where you focused on the target and your brain centered it without having an actual center reticle?

So I've been trying to think outside the box and come up with something that isn't already out there. I remember reading back when the hexsight was a thing, they claimed some research had been done stating the eye is drawn more to the center of a geometric shape than a circle so I came up with this idea. It's just a rough sketch, but you get the idea. The triangle could be the size of the usual 65 moa circle that is commonly used. The lines could be brought to a 2-5 moa gap. You'd have to play with that. They could even be connected with a small open triangle in the center. I originally had the triangle pointing up, but when I flipped it, something seemed to draw my focus to the center faster. This may be total crap, but at least it's something different. I'd like to have some way to mock one up and see how I liked it, but that's beyond my ability to fabricate. I guess I could take a toilet paper tube, put some plastic wrap over the end, use a marker to draw the reticle, then tape it on the gun with some duct tape.
