My boss sent this home with me and asked me to clean it up and he would sell it to me or I could sell it for him. Not sure what I’m going toView attachment IMG_7832.jpeg
That’s why I haven’t done it yet I’m trying to figure out how to do itJust don't "clean it up" by altering the finish on the stock or metal
It has enough honest wear that you’re not gonna violate a collectors piece. The absolute best penetrating oil is a 50/50 mix of Acetone and automatic transmission fluid. Kroil is second. I’d probably take the stocks off and just start dosing all the screws and joints so you don’t risk buggering up pins and screw heads. It’s not a rush job so you can be as meticulous as you want to be. You can probably put a pretty good cleaning with cotton rags and isopropyl alcohol. That’s why I haven’t done it yet I’m trying to figure out how to do it

I’m really curious what the bore looks like.
They’re pretty dang cheap on Amazon. I’d have one already if I could just decide which one I want. I have six or seven in my cart. Probably end up with two or three to hit most of the bases.Wish I had a bore scope
I know a couple of people that have them. Amazon is a good place to find them too. Just don’t get to sucked in. I checking barrels out now before and after I clean.Wish I had a bore scope
