Short rifle case

I’m looking for a handful of short cases for some short lever action rifles (think marlin 39m or 1894c). Most cases I can find are made for scopes or longer guns. Do any of you all have a short case that you’d recommend for unscoped lever actions? Im not interested in rectangular AR style cases.

Are you looking to store them or travel with them? I’ve had pretty decent luck with cases from Tractor Supply for cases just to keep them from getting beat up around the house.

Thank you. I didn’t even think to look there. They have a 38” youth case that might work well for a couple of these.

Boyt, midway, Cabelas all have short-er canvas cases. I did a search for canvas rifle cases and got a lot of hits, cheap-ish and spendy. I don’t like cordura too much, they always feel cheap. Canvas, waxed and oiled always looks good and is usually pretty durable.
I have a couple buddies out in W TX who used to do Cowboy Action and they said they always used canvas cases.

I looked all those places. Finding a 40-42” shotgun case in stock has been the problem. Midway has been out of stock of their 40” canvas shotgun case recently, but I checked again today and they’ve got some so I got a couple of those and a couple of the 38” youth TS cases. Thanks for the replies!

I don't own any Midway canvas cases, but those waxed cases are kinda nice looking. It's tough to find really nice short cases in a traditional case.

I've got a couple 44" Boyts that are pretty nice, but they don't have traditional handles just a strap and they are kinda awkward to carry.

Tractor supply has cases???

I won’t tell you how many I had to buy at one time, but it was more than a couple. Kinda helps keep the rash down.
