I think it's going to work. Shot the Mathews today. I have it dialed at 20, 30 and 40. I need more practice for sure, but I'm thrilled.

Did some shooting from a chair and surprisingly easy with my back.

On a side note, buddy called this afternoon and found something he couldn't live without. I'm the proud owner of a Centerpoint crossbow with Vortex Optic. Same one I've been borrowing!

Ya, little bit. This is straight up cheating really. We have such a narrow shooting window and time. It's just easier set it up, get on the bow and wait.

#2 in the freezer. "Rupert" came out this morning with 3 other small bucks and a bunch of does. They all messed around for a few minutes and I picked this guy out. He was yuge in the body. 0729, bolt entered just behind the right shoulder, he did a 180° kicked and it exited right in front of the left hindquarter. Missed all the guts, turned the heart to soup and arrow stuck in the ground 3 feet behind him

Ran about 40 yards straight west of me and crashed on top of a brush pile.



This was one of 7 that were pointed out that they wanted us to harvest. I'm thrilled too, he was a porker!
