Didn't get out until Tuesday afternoon . . . I saw this guy on camera that morning at two different feeders. I took a chance that he'd show up north of them that afternoon, and it paid off. I got a shot at him at around 4pm.

Tagged out on bucks for the second time ever.

Tagged out last night. Nice size doe walked out about 70 yards. .280 Ackley 145 Hammer HHT through and through. Made it about 8 feet. Front shoulders were both toast.


Little too much for short range work but I wanted to pop this rifles cherry.

Heart was toast

Thanks. I got a couple of nice opportunities to go to town and took advantage of it. I have to wait until December 18th to get two more. I've never 100% tagged out in my life.

I've only killed two deer in a season, 3 or 4 times, and have never filled every tag. I probably could this year, heck, I probably should kill 4 or 5 doe just to thin them out.
