45 Colt reamer?

Ok so my project is getting some good traction. I am finally getting around to machining a new barrel for my Winchester 92 I brought back from Bolivia. It was made in 1907. I got it threaded and tapered. I now need to ream the chamber. I am wondering if any of you have a 45 Colt reamer that I could rent/borrow before I rent one from Ajax. Here she is! I've talked at length with JEVAPA about this project. I've given up on it many times as it has occupied a certain place in my mind, but damn it I'm seeing it through!IMG_20251022_174937.jpg

Well now I got all active and ordered a rental reamer from 4D should have it in 3 days or so. Now back to being dull and drab until it showes up 😁🤣😅😁

Hopefully my sarcasm came through in type. That’s a really cool project and I’m anxious to hear of your results

Well, I got side tracked for a bit and had to have some parts removed. I did get a great Christmas present in the fact that all cancer was removed and it was 100% successful! I am now back to light duty and have been working a little. I hope to have it all together late next week and test fired. Then off to my amigo in Blackfoot Idaho, John Walker, to have the sight silver soldered on and roll stamped with the Winchester logos of the time and engraved 45LC.

Merry Christmas indeed. Hopefully you don’t get side tracked again. But can we see some pics of this ole gal in her entirety?

Just got done test firing. It works great! Now I've got to silver solder the front sight base on and cut a dove tail for the rear sight. I'm probably going to send it up to my amigo John Walker of Walker's Winchesters to have him do that as it is one of his specialties. I really enjoyed test firing it. It is the first time since 1998 it was fired, but now it has a nice shiny new barrel! The old one was completely rusted out! KIMG1533.JPG
