During my last haul of magnum primers, I picked up a box of Remington 9 1/2 Mags. They are supposed to be one of the lightest magnum ones made from what I have read. Very close to a standard LRP. Most of the 6.5 PRC loads I'm seeing are calling for a 210M or BR2. I'm running low on 210M's and have a hungry .308 to feed. I loaded up a ladder test using the 9 1/2M's and will test them out. Just looking for anyone with real world experience good or bad with them.
My thought was, this is a hunting rig pushing a 156 EOL with Retumbo and a little hotter primer might be beneficial in cold.
Little big of searching has a few positives results but nothing negative that I have found.
Thanks in advance
