Books to read. Suggestions and discussion thread.

Supernatural by Dr Michael Heiser. It will take you to depths of understanding of your Bible that will blow your mind. It’s started a new reformation that crosses all denominational boundaries and goes to the heart of Christianity.

Very interesting. I just looked some of his books up on Amazon and added 3 of them to my wish list.
The full version of this book is The Unseen Realm: Recovering the Supernatural Worldview of the Bible if you are looking for a more academic and cited view.

Turns out that the Manson Family was connected to the MK Ultra program. Also an Air force psychiatrist killed an elephant at the OKC zoo with an overdose of LSD, and later ran a free clinic in SF that was running experiments on hippies. It gets darker from there.

Whatchu guys been reading? I’ve finally made the time to keep reading “The Orthodox Church” by Timothy Ware and have gotten a little over half of it read. Been working on it for two months now but I hope to have it completed by the end of the month. February was a busy month for me so didn’t have much time or patience to read.

Got a few more on my bookshelf I plan on reading once I get this one finished.

Finished Rock and Sand. Highly recommend if you don’t know much history behind how Protestantism came about and the heresy it went through the last 500 years… really opened my eyes.
