Really? You had to leave the most likely option right there on top?
It’s not that it’s antlerless that will spazz them out, it the fact that so many they didn’t intend to be thinned will be antlerless. Remember how they filled their knickers the first year of bear season? You’d think in this age of technology they’d know what every living thing on the planet is and where it’s at.
He hasn't shed a side. He's just all screwed up on one side. Maybe he'll have a full typical set next year. These are yard deer, so unless he gets run over or poached I should get a look at him again.
I had at least 9 different deer in the yard last night, and maybe more. 6 bucks on camera at the same time and the 3 girls that pretty much live here. Had some other singles & doubles that might have been some of the same deer I saw later, but I had at least 9.
I've lived here 32 years, and I never knew that was going on outside my bedroom window. Oh, I'd see a few tracks from time to time, but nothing like this.
