Rugged Alaskan Ti. Non Ti is cheaper but heavier.I’m kink of being talked into a suppressor. I’m thinking just a one and done suppressor. Something I can use on a 9mm pistol carbine and 300blk. Any ideas?
I don’t usually use suppressor covers, but if you get one, make sure it has fire proof material in it that contacts the suppressor. You’ll want it high temp if you shoot more than a magAlright, I’m gonna need suggestions on a suppressor cover that doesn’t cost as much as a tax stamp. What do you guys like?
Reasoning for not usually using one? I’m having a hard time seeing a downside, especially considering I intensely dislike my legs being burned when slinging a rifle. Is it more training than a need for equipment?I don’t usually use suppressor covers, but if you get one, make sure it has fire proof material in it that contacts the suppressor. Sub-tac and Armageddon Gear have some that are around $75-$80.
No reason, I just don't. I don't have an issue burning myself and I don't usually wear shorts on a range. I think it's training more than a need but they are nice to have. If I use one, it's primary function is to mask mirage from a hot suppressor; I find that more of an issue than anything. So it's not that I don't use one, it's that I don't usually use one. It's like not bringing a pair of gloves to the range: am I gonna have to call it quits? No, just nicer to have.Reasoning for not usually using one? I do. I just keep each in a nylon case with my paperwork in a ziploc bag. You can ask 5 different "experts" and get 5 different answers on this. My guy said keep it when you're out in the field or at the range, so I do.Whale whale whale. View attachment 11630
