Found a guy that really wanted this 1992ish Model 94. Needed it for his collection. Offered me this 1968ish Model 94 in trade. I couldn't get there fast enough.
Little staining on the butt, like maybe a flood or it sat in a deer blind with mud and water? Cleaned up the rust from it, but the rest of the rifle was clean and in excellent shape. Bore is super clean, nothing to be concerned with. It's accurate too. I ran some 2250 FPS Barnes TSX and it handled them fine. I may or may not hunt with it, but it's a great candite for those 1950 FPS Berry's plated bullet loads.

I always wanted a Winchester 1895 in 3040 & 3006,
Thought I'd found a very affordable one at mustang gun several years or so ago,
But alas, it was a 270win, so it was a nogo for me,
Iirc I ended up buying an Ontario "Air Force" style survival knife with sheath for $25+ tax,
it was too good of price to pass up, plus it sharpened up razor sharp and keeps a pretty decent edge.
