I was in a pawn shop in Norman…

They a rifles that I’m sure will linger for a while but appeared to be right up some of y’all’s trees. She offered to get it out for me to inspect but I declined. I can go back and get more details if someone is interested. It’s built on a left handed 700 pattern custom receiver, definitely aftermarket. Chambered in 6.5 STW but she said it also has another barrel in a different caliber which I failed to enquire further. The stock looks like a Manners EH1, but I didn’t see the underlying carbon fiber pattern. It definitely had a mottled multicolor pattern. It was topped with a Nightforce optic model unknown but looked very much like an ATACR. I suspect rings of the same make, trigger unknown to me. They are asking 3100ish which for the passing cursory inspection is probably very much less than the sum of the parts. It’s just outside my wheelhouse right now. It’s a beautiful build done by someone who has their poop in a group.

If this sounds like something anyone here would like to know more about I would be very happy to return to obtain all the minute particulars.

As much as custom built bolt guns are and are really cool, they carry almost no value to anyone but the person that paid for it initially. A Lefty? Certainly no value except to the 5% and even then, not so much. That gun will sit for a long time. It’ll be easier to sell the scope and mount and get rid of the gun at cost.
Besides, its a pawn shop, how much did they pay for it? Next to nothing i bet

Exactly! When a small gang of very former presidents level their steely gaze at a pawnshop owner you can cut the tension with a knife.
