Revolvers for CC?

Anybody carry a revolver as a primary CCW? Maybe as backup?

I have occasionally carried a Colt DSII, though not recently. It’s sorta-kinda a stainless retake on the Detective Special—at least Detective Special grips will fit it.

Primary, never. I cut my teeth in the 1911 generation followed by Sig/Glock/FN

Backup, I used to carry a 642 worked over by Teddy Jacobson, but dumped it when the Glock 27 came into play. Made sense being a 22 was my duty weapon.

I want to find the right 44 to carry when hunting, but haven't yet.

I’ll carry a revolver-SAA or DA, on the farm and in the truck and stuff. .44 and .45, you know, coz they don’t make a .46. But that’s it.

I don’t see the need or the requirement for a wheelgun CC anymore; we’ve gone way past that by at least 30 yrs. Anyone who does is probably cheap or a fudd. Or both. But, I’ll say there’s probably a legit reason to carry one CC, I just haven’t justified one for me.

However, if I had to go off and do something extra gay, I’d have to do it like this:
