I read that this afternoon. I've learned this the hard way recently.

I kept this here vs reloading. I don’t reload to reinvent the wheel. I reload to match existing known cartridges that are proven. I look at a bottle of H4350 and ask myself, “self, how many rounds of Berger 140 hybrid match ammo can you make with that there bottle?”
I’m not into wasting time, components, and equipment wear chasing vapor. That kind of cha-ching adds up. If it was a hobby then I’d probably think differently.
Ladder tests I do are to confirm they match as closely as possible to existing rounds I know perform. Then that single recipe gets written down and that’s all I load for that cartridge.
