Good steak where?

I think we're gonna try this Ken's sometime this month for "mother's day".
Do they really not have a menu?
I've heard it's just a waitress saying "you want sirloin, ribeye, or ribs?"
Wife and I ate there about a month ago. No menu and they have those three choices. I got the ribeye and it was pretty damn good. My wife got the ribs, and they were damn good also. I’ll do the ribs if we go back. They have a salad bar that’s included with the meals, and they also bring out a couple of ribs for all orders. Try to get there early because they get busy fast.

Sorta off subject, there's a diner south of elk at n.east corner intersection of 152.

Called pappy's or poppy's, never had steak there but got'm on menu.

Have got the chicken fry sandwich, it's ok, plate of home cut fries.

the pig sandwich is pretty fucking decent, it's chopped smoked pig with a bit of sauce, smoked sausage and bacon on a toasted bun comes with plate of home cut fries, like $13otd.

These days I'll only get a steakhouse steak if someone else is paying or if I want a proper dry aged steak. Because of inflation, you end up paying way more in tips but it's not like you are getting more "service" than before. If anything service would be worse due to labor shortages and people not giving a fuck anymore about life. Yeah I'm a cheapass when it comes to tipping.

Sam's and Costco both sell prime grade beef that you can get on sale now that it's almost grilling season time.
It might be because my grandma is so Jewish she was Unitarian, but I have a hard time going out an paying for a steak when searing one is retarded simple.

I do get the experience thing though, I just like my restaurants with a little more je ne sais quoi.

Hahahahahahahahahahahah....................hahahahahaha...........then go to south Louisiana or up north to Ontario.

Or just go to grandma's and settle for a bowl of lentil soup & matzah balls

I can't, she's in hell now
Been there myself visiting a time or three,

but lucy said I give a fucknone about everything I don't care for, fucked all of hell's beautiful female demons, that when I farted on his favorite couch he'd covered with jesus's cloak I left a permanent hash mark, drank all the ancient scotch, smoked most of the perfect tobacco, hog the remote and talk to much.

So lucy exiled me from hell back to earth to send down some more worthless demented souls to play chess with,..........................even being exiled, I still casually stroll across the river to remind'm the security got dementia.

Are you saying elk the street or elk the city?

I remember there being a menu a year or two ago. Limited, but it was there. The wife got a half chicken, I got either a ribeye or prime rib. I just remember her chicken had the most beautiful, picture perfect smoke ring on it. Things do change though, they might have done away with it. We need to go back soon.

Look at you retard keyboard commandos talking about stupid shit like steaks on your slow ass website instead of real important shit like Dave Ramsey's financial advice, fudd guns, and inviting dudes for coffee.

We have an excellent steakhouse up here if y’all are ever in the area….

Edit: I’ll even come join you if you buy me a cup of coffee

Edit: not you though pissmaster
I’m making the world’s largest sad face. But I’m hoping to move forward.

What yo name means, shawtty?

At cattleman’s yesterday. “Presidential favorite T-Bone” for $39. Thickest part of the steak was about 1/4”, tenderloin side tapered down to 1/8”. I’ve been going regularly the past few months. Never again. I’ve seen better looking steaks at dollar general, and tasted better at Golden Corral.

Texas Roadhouse is a good steak if you like chains. We haven't been there in awhile and go to the Plantation here instead...don't think I'll hit the Roadhouse in the city tho.

This is where the crazies come out and start bashing and accusing me of blasphemy and all kinds of other shit, lol.
I have never had a bad steak at Cattleman's, ever. In fact, I've only had good steaks there and excellent Prime Rib and they were worth it. Not saying they don't disappoint some people, just saying I have never been disappointed there, nor had a bad experience. One time, my wife's was med-well (she has an accent) and I sent it back and we got another one promptly that was excellent. Only thing I will never have from them again is the grilled veggies...they served some old ass shit one time like 6 years ago and I'm still scarred. So that's our default place when we go to the city and decide on a whim we want a steak.

The ranch blew (recommended)...Saltgrass is a chain so when they suck they really suck. I went to some place called red dirt or red rock or something in Norman...they sucked. And I went on recommendation as well to a place called houlihans or something? Sucked.

I like the Hefner grill and I think they have a couple steaks there but I'm afraid to order one because then I'll fucking hate them too.
So I'm wondering if there's another place ...I've been told to go to Mickey mantles but the wait is forever.

We did go to Gordon Ramsey's and that was one of the best meals ever...Beef Wellington. The wife got a steak and it was one of the best I've tasted., but I have to plan a night for GR. So, for me, it's Cattleman's or GR, but I'd like to find another place to get a steak in the City.

Concur on Cattleman's. 100%. Not an "upscale" place, but they got a good steak if you order the right steak. Cooked the right way.

Mickey Mantle's has a good steak, but it's totally different than Cattleman's. Bring your billfold.

The Mantle across the street NE from Mickey Mantle's has the best steak and best romantic ambiance in OKC if you ask me, but most of my taste is in my mouth, so take it on advisement. Bring your banker, cause the bill will rip a hole in your ass.

Bull in the Alley in Tulsa is worth the drive and a hotel stay. Banker will be required again. Maybe 2 of them. The last time I went the seafood tower was $700.

As mentioned, Ken's in Amber is also good, but it's just a place to eat. One of my favorites actually, but it's more like a cafe than a fancy steak place. If ya like a really good sirloin or prime rib it's great. Brisket & ribs are also top notch. If you haven't been you need to put it on your schedule.
