Range Day Pic Thread

I found some 129 grain interlock in 6.5 creedmoor that I loaded last year but never chronograph so I went back and shot 5 shots the high shot is actually 2 shots same hole the low shot I knew was low when I shot but was actually closer than the first 2IMG_6769.jpegIMG_6768.jpegIMG_6770.jpeg

They work the best. Also try not to bump your shoulder too much. I bump mine back .002 to .003 from a fire formed case.

I need a comparitor measuring off the top sucks especially with a lead tip bullet
But you can sign you name and kill a deer with them.

But seriously, even the highest end bullets will not be 100% COAL exact. There is a very slight difference in my 230 A-Tips and they are about as close to perfection aside from a solid bullet.

I’m just scared the wind will blow the bullets together and I will load a bunch that actually suck lol I want to bad but I’m just not very confident wish I was but I don’t know that much about testing in the wind that’s why I check this thread about 50 times a day hoping to learn something

Went out and fire formed 50 .308 as well as ran 2 groups of 5 on a new H4350 + Berger 153.5gn load for the 6.5 CM. Don't mind the mile-high optic on the .308  But at least I can start load development lol.

Me and pops made it out to the farm today. He was testing some loads for his Sako .308 and I took my Armalite AR-180 for some off-hand practice. Windy bitch out this afternoon, so off-hand on the plates was a challenge. Good to get out and shoot some, it hasn't been dry enough recently. Every time the ground gets firm enough to where I'm not rutting the crap out of the range, it goes and rains some more.
