Tracking says Monday. Probably be Tuesday as Sooner State Pawn isn't speedy about transfers. I have Wednesday off, so if all goes well, barrel break in Wednesday

My oldest son and his fiancé came down this afternoon for some BBQ and shooting. We didn’t get serious about the shooting today, but we still fired a few rounds.

Range days count? 13yo nephew came with my dad to visit. Kid had a Steven's 22 and wanted to try other stuff. He shot:

1919, mpx, 10/22, bmag, S&W 617 22, S&W 686 357, M1A, Roughrider, Henry X, Ruger MKIV, SBR, 458 Socom, ruger american 556, ruger american 300blk, AR 5.56. Probably some others. Shot some tracers, shot some tannerite. I demonstrated the 458 Lott for him. Most above were suppressed so he got to enjoy that too. It was a good time!

Also, dualing tree at 50 yards with the suppressed Henry X is beyond fun.

Aaaah hell with the temps, if rifle & load shoots well in the cold, it ought to shoot well in the heat.................

Of course poi might be a bit different due to temps, but that's why you got a log book to note.

And instead drinking pot of hot black coffee in morning with glass of good scotch in evening,

You drink a pot of tepid black coffee in morn & a 12 pack of beer in afternoon.

Played with the 204 and 24gr Hornady NTX. They're rated 4400...but I'm on a 22" barrel instead of 24 or 26.
