I’m back on a strict meat only diet again. If I take a trip to OKC where can I do a la carte for a steak? I don’t like paying for the sides that I am not going to eat.

Also are Brazilian steakhouses like a meat lovers dream? I wouldn’t mind going to one of those and just pigging out.

Brazilian steakhouse.

iirc there is one in bricktown and one at the grand casino.

Been to the one at the grand several years back, it wasn't bad, wasn't exceptional either, but it was good enough

I think mickey mantles is a la carte, just look for places that say "family style". I wouldn't suggest that place though, personally.

look for those asian bbq joints, I forget what they are called. they have little grills in the table and bring your out meats of your choosing.

I don’t know about all Brazilian steakhouses, but Texas de Brazil in Tulsa sure is. There’s beef, pork, and lamb/mutton, and even chicken for the vegetarians, and it’s all you can eat. And maybe then some…

I couldn’t tell you how much it cost, though, as I’ve only been there on the company’s dime, and I didn’t get the check any of the times we went. I’m sure it wasn’t cheap, though.

Ranch, Mickey mantles, mahogany, red prime and bobs all offer al la carte steaks, but you’d probably be better off paying for a side you don’t want at a chain restaurant if you’re worried about price. The Brazilian steakhouses are ok in my opinion. It’s a lot of meat and a lot of salt. it’s definitely not bad, but it’s not especially good either. I could see a carnivore dieter enjoying the hell out of them though.

For a Brazilian steakhouse they have a Texas de Brazil at Penn Square mall and a Fogo De Chao just opened in OKC. Either is good but Fogo de Chao pretty much crushes Texas...and any other place for that matter. We used to go the Fogo in Plano a lot but now it's OKC.

As far as ala carte steaks in OKC IDK, I don't do that and don't listen to 90% of the people that tell me what place is good because they've been wrong AF 100% of the time.

My wife and I went there for my Birthday. https://fogodechao.com/menu/?location=8411

I'd go back. Beef was great, chicken too. Sausage was typical greasy and wasn't the best. They had some cool cheeses too.

Any restaurant that has steak should be able to give you just a steak.

On Brazilian steak houses I have only been to Texas due Brazil but it was based AF.

Pro tip: skip the sausage until you are ready to go. It's a gut bomb that makes you feel instantly full. I think that is how they get cha with all you can eat.

You could also tell them you are allergic to all vegetables and carbs. If they ask what happens when you eat them say "they make me gay"
