Hmmm, I’ve got an air fryer but haven’t used it much. I would have never thought to cook a steak in it. Maybe I’ll try a flank steak or something similar to see if I like it.

Seriously, dude. A thick ribeye or NY Strip you can do about 8-10minutes @ 400°. I flip mine halfway through the cook and then take them out and sear them in the pan on my oven for about 30 seconds a side, maybe less. Comes out to a perfect medium-medium rare every time. Don’t forget the butter!
 
Those Thermapens are definitely worth it. I was amazed how much you can do with it. I mean check meat and the wife can make candies and such with it.
 
You guys make me jealous all those good looking steaks I love to cook on my smoker I built but I can only eat a bite or two my diverticulitis won’t let me shit for 3 days if I eat more than that
