Tales from the Reloading Room

Not really reloading ROOM, but finally tested a few loads, loaded on the "new to me" RL1050, using pull down 55gr and pull down "H335" from American Reloading. 25gr of powder is standard load for that combo, and this powder is right in the ballpark.

These are coming out of my 12.5, I tested four Hornady black 77s that are rated at 2790, and the four shot average 2455. The 55 grain with American reloading powder average 2778.

For reference, here's someone else's data of factory "M193" type ammo out of a 12.5. The average of these averages is 2839. That IMI stuff really bumped the average up.

Started load development on the 7SAUM today. Had to put some rounds down range to get some heat in the barrel. But here are the speeds I got.

Working some .300WSM this evening with the 175 grain Terminal Ascents. Jump testing was really good today. Want to proof these at distance

You got those loooong. I’m heading tomorrow to get powder. You twisted my arm. I’m going to try my 270 win again.
I haven't seated yet. Just stuck em in the case. In only jumping .015" though.

What are you loading yours with?

Loaded 50 rounds of 270. 10 are loaded for a ladder test then 40 are going to get fire formed. We will see how this goes. Everything is seated to mag length. I’m not going to hand feed this rifle.
