Found jam today with these Berger 205 Elite Hunters. Did a ladder test with Retumbo in ADG brass with a CCI 250. Hoping for 2950 out of this 26" 1:8.

Have my 6 rounds for break in and my one control round.

Do you shoot one before your ladder test?

I don't. I haven't ever seen a noticable difference on a velocity test between a cold bore and not.

On groups, yes if I'm trying to get a super small one. No if I'm testing real world situation. I want to know how to dope for that cold bore if needed

Loading up some plinking 30-30 rounds. I was able to get my Hornady Lock N Load measure to throw a pretty consistent charge of N135. 27.5 is a good middle ground with a 20" barrel that gets me 1950 FPS with these Berry's plated bullets.

20 pieces of ADG .300 PRC and the 9 pieces of Alpha I loaded and fired today. All annealed!

I just did 550 pieces and broke my trimmer with about 300 left. I'm dead in the water

.002" isn't going to cut it with these 205's in the .300 PRC. .003" feels much better so far after loading up another ladder test. Will find out Sunday

Luckily with this ADG, I have 99 pieces and it's all still Virgin. My code came from piece #1. Shouldn't have to sacrifice another to the God's for a bit
