Tales from the Reloading Room

Yes. I’ll past picks when I get back to the house. It’s vary easy set up.

All I do is paint a line of tempilaq on the inside of the neck of the case. When it hits the tempilaq temperature it burns off. Count seconds and watch the paint tell it’s gone with drill spinning. Spin the drill at a slow ish pace don’t just let the case set steal. Center flame should be in the middle of shoulder. If you paint 3 or 4 cases and get an average. Time is key. You shouldn’t have to paint the rest of the necks. Even if you had other flame annealers use this process. The thicker the cases the longer the time it takes to anneal.

Thanks I have tried others techniques always looking for a new or better way I haven’t annealed very many but probably should

I just have a bench made into a large shelf in my shop. RCBS single stage and pretty primitive.

Last night I resized and deprived about 100 .223 case, couple .308 and 5 300 b/o cases.

After doing a little action polish on the new 340PD. Loaded up another 150 of some stuff I found that these little snubbies really love.
158gr Hornady Semi-wad hollowpoint, 3.5gr titegroup, 1.475 OAL. Haven’t chrono’d but velocity should be about 830fps

Started to pull out the few rounds I fired of .300 PRC this morning and start working on brass. Then realized I'm going to do some 1000 yard groups this weekend..............

The pain
I was thinking of running out to fouled bore today and dumping about 100 rounds. I need to set up my 6.5 srp cases. then figure out how much more im going to shoot before I have to head back out.

Those look like daggom rice pellets

My Frankford links to an app. I’m not a fan of the app. It seems to lock up on me.
