I run this in my 20" 1:10 under a 168 grain ELDM at around 2670. Kinda slow, but it holds tight out to 550. I have about 5 pounds left and it's kinda hard to get. I have a buddy needing some and if 8208 XBR works well in my 22"......Well, we may have a horse trade to pull off!
Get the Redding mounted up. It’s replacing my Lee challenger so it definitely feels like an upgrade. I actually rarely use a single stage because I run my 550 like a single stage on my “accuracy” ammo but maybe I’ll give the Redding a chance. I built extra mounts last time I built mounts so the install was quick and painless. Any of y’all have experience with this press? I hear it’ll scatter spent primers. I found a guy that prints a part to fill the gap when you aren’t priming on the press. I may spend the $10 on it.
@conditionzero would you have any interest in printing another of those? No problem if not. I had a guy up here print me some other stuff. I can take him all the pieces I’m sure and he can figure it out. I’d pay of course. I’ve got the same set as you and they are currently in a pile in an akro bin. I probably wouldn’t put mine in a case I’d just set it on a shelf. Anyhow, no big deal either way.

I used to use it under a 175gr SMK. Still have a little bit left… maybe a pound.
Sold my 8lb jug to fund another project. I don’t load much .308 anymore anyways.
Yeah I can print you and @ClintC one. They are flat on the bottom so you can put it on a shelf or drawer.
Lee bushing conversion and 21st century expander die and mandrel came in today. I got the Redding converted to take the Lee die bushings and I’m gonna now run this virgin brass over the expander. The bushing conversion came with one bushing. It’s their new style I guess. I prefer the old steel ones. Looks like Lee catering too cheap is getting even cheaper.
